Brown rice is a staple of a healthy diet. This rice can be cooked in a rice cooker as well.

Instructions

  1. Mince the garlic clove.
  2. In a small pot with a lid add the uncooked rice, water, garlic, turmeric, cayenne pepper, and sea salt. Cover and bring to a simmer for 25–30 minutes over medium heat. Once the rice is tender remove from heat.
